Turkey Day and Manual Labor

Happy Turkey Day to all and remember that it’s not the tryptophan in the turkey that makes you tired but eating so much.  You’d have to eat a HUGE amount of turkey to get enough tryptophan to make you tired.  No joke.

I have been working with my father and mother on a new business they are opening December 1st.  It is a music store in my hometown of Cuero called Progression Music.  They both have experience with such stores previously and they were very successful.  However, each previous time there were others who had primary ownership of the business – this time it’s just them.  I’ve been working on putting up boards to hang guitars, painting, sanding, drilling, more painting, staining wood et cetera.  When they do open though, it’ll be a great little music store and well worth the time to stop by and check it out.

Aside from the holiday and the store work, I have a large amount of homework to hammer out and haven’t had nor will I have much time in the near future to update the blog.  BUT, the holiday break from school is coming soon and I should have some time to work some more on things here, hopefully.  Only time will tell.
